Hey,
I have a 97 SX, recently just put new pistons in it. The heat sensor and wiring to the cdi box where also changed. It runs ok except when I get up around top end 130km/hr or more the machine bogs down, and if I slow down and hit the throtle it will pick up again, then bog down etc?
Any thoughts?

are the main jets clean? Take apart the carbs and clean them real good. Are the clutches binding up? Maybe time for a good clutch cleaning/replacement of worn parts in the clutches. Is there a black ring/streak on the primary or secondary (you would have to open up the secondary to see it at the bottom.
