Hey if u want money for your sleds, come to Maine. I sold my 98 srx 600 last SUMMER for $3400 easily. 01's are getting 4500, 02's are getting 5000+. But ironically the rx-1s are only getting around 5-6k

I've also noticed that prices seem to vary depending on where you are....I might even look at buying my next sled in the States and bringing it back to Manitoba. The prices in Minnesota seem lower than the same sleds here.

One issue with declining SRX values must be the fact that many of them are NOT stock. It's kinda like a motocross bike or muscle car... would you rather buy a used racer or that stock machine from that little old lady in Pasedena? When I read about how much money some guys put in their machine and then type up drag race results, I envision many highly stressed sleds with their mileage put on 2000' at a time. Granted, the passion many have for their machines probably means that maintenance was performed as well as the surgeon that put in Pamela Anderson's implants, but I don't think buyers really care about that.
Probably the best way to get the best price is to let someone on a 440 fan ride it once. You will impress him/her so much with your SRX you can probably name your price...
