blinking temp light 01 sxr 700

My oil light just started blinking recently, mainly at higher speeds or bumpy trails. Does anybody know what this could be?

probably a bad sensor, there was a recall on those i believe. I know there have been several problems with then
 
I think it is actually my temp light that is blinking anyone know of any causes for this?
 
if the temp light is blinking steadily, it is overheating. If it is blinking a pattern, it is a diagnostic code, and they are listed on the tech pages.
