V-Max 600XT 96` stock primary set up? (weights,rivets)

I guess some of you remember the thread I posted earlier "1996 V-Max 600XT primary issues" , I installed new rollers and weights, weights had no rivets, and (I`don`t know if the missing rivets could have something to do with it) after a short ride, only about 10km , the new rollers was busted, the bushings were torn apart. Another thing I did when I installed them was to cut the collars so they had the same length as the "holes" they go in, so that they didn`t slide, I did it because I thought they was the reason for some of the noises. Was that a stupid move?.
Anyway, now I am ordering new rollers, collars,washers, nuts & bolts & rivets from ronnies.com.
When I got the new weights from my local dealer, I got 8AB 01 weights, (same as the old ones) , but now I wonder if 8AB 01 is the stock weights for this sled?. I can`t find them anywhere on the clutching set up pages so I`m starting to wonder if the pervious owner changed them.
Can the diameter on the holes for the rivets vary from weight to weight?.
The sled I am ordering the parts for is actually a friends sled, I sold it to him and promised him that I would overhaul the primary, so I really hope that I will be able to figure this out.
Now he`s running old rollers/weights, one of the rollers have a big groove in them so they really need to be changed!
