Rolled my sled on highway.

I was trailering home from Vt on Sunday morning and hit a patch of black ice. My truck survived, but a couple of fishtales through the sled from the trailer. I got lucky, about seven or eight cars came through but all of them hit multiple guard rails, and one flipped three times into the woods,luckily everyone walked away. The trailer was hanging by the chains, and I had a pad lock on it. My sled had rolled over and was getting dragged by the rear bumper tie down strap. The damage wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The windshield, handlebars, air box and headlight are wasted. The hood and front bumper got through it with just a couple scratches, one of the running boards has a little bend and the rear bumper got a little bent as well. Anyone know good dealer to get parts through, like to get it up and running as quick as possible.

You neeed a lot of little parts and will probably need to call several dealers. Try Sleds North Country ? yam and several in NY. You can get a list on line.

First call your ins. company,

Second, I would remove that big key chain--could have been part of the problem :lol:
 
I contacted Larry at North Country Yamaha and priced out parts at xtremepowersports.com not sure how good their prices are, I am assuming they are list.

OH.....MY......GOD.....!!!! :shock: I think I would've puked. Be carfule with all the other peoples insurance claim. I'd hate for that one to be judged my fault.... :oops:
 
I never hit anything or got hit. It was like 7:30am and not much traffic, but each time a car came through that corner they lost control and started bouncing off the guardrails. The LEO was in his vehicle writing my info when the minvan flipped, and two more crashed while we were getting them out. My trailer flipped towards the end of my slide when the tires caught traction in the breakdown lane. I felt like puking as I loaded it on the back on trailer, then that mini van flipped and I thanked my lucky stars it wasn't me in it.

first of all, do you have insurance? If no, post a complete list of what you need, and I would bet that most of it will available online. Post here, amsnow, snowest, bcsf, wherever.
