Heard from my dealer this past week who was at dealer show in Quebec that yamaha will release smaller four-stoke next year.NOT WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT.....replacement for enticerII.Seems yamaha wants to own workhorse market.Cannot see this four banger being develop just for enticerII type sled.May be installed in phazer type sled also.BRAVO.....alive to 2010 then it gets the boot with no replacement.Hope this new sled gets installed in deltabox frame.Hope to find out more at dealer show later this month.MOTOR PREDICTIONS.......air cooled secaII inline four with fan cooled.......water cooled.....TDM850 or super tenere 750 parallel twin with top mounted rad.
 
People havent even taken delivery of the '06s yet! After all the excitement about the '06s, Im not sure I can handle speculating about the '07s yet.
I personally hope Yamaha FINALLY makes a 4-stroke replacement for the SX Venom. Perhaps a 950 triple putting out 100 hp and way more torque than the Venom ever did while getting 22-24 mpg. It would be nice...

You guys are not to far off track. If I had to venture to guess, maybe a 450cc 80 hp for the kids.Can you say a kodiak 4x4 motor?

We'll see.
