Enticer vs. Bravo

I am picking up a enticer 250 that is need of a few repairs. Also found a Bravo 250 in need of some repairs. What is the major difference between the 2 machines. The only visible difference I see is the hood. Is the suspension different. If so will bravo skid go under the enticer?

I pretty sure the rear suspension and tracks are different. Don't quote me though. I believe the enticer 300 and 250 have the same tracks and suspensions. The Bravo TS has the same track as the 250 and 300.

yup that the difference. also the drive nubs are spaced different.


what kind of enticer? year?? if it a et250 from 78-79 forget the bravo.
we got one of those and it likes bravo behind it all the time. even before i put the track on backwards and blew up the primary. those are fast little buggers.

the motors are not the same. bravo one is shorter. if the et has decompressor, weld a pug in it before you go any farther. learned that one the hard way. just put new piston and rings in it 10hrs earlier and was just finishin breakin when decompressor blew and took out piston and rings. my dad was ready to tear a strip offa me till he took it apart and found this.

250 & 300 have different skids
Bravo & et 250 have different skids
Bravo & et 250 have differnt engines. The bravo has 1 pc sleeve head if my memory serves me correct
I owned a et250/300/340
A friens took a 300 frame, put a 340 in it and added 250 stickers. The 300 was the shortest of all.

Tunnels are different.

The Bravo has a steel tunnel and can rust out.
The Enticers have an aluminum tunnel which contributes to their longevity.
Got a 79 Enticer 300 that will sell if anyone is interested.

I beleive the enticer is a 1978 et 250. He did mention a decompression valve. I was told it needs a coil and a gas tank. Hood is solid. tell me more about the decompression switch and toasting pistons and rings. This is the first I have heard about it. Sled will be for my 6 year old son. I definitely will have to restrict throttle.

they put the decompressor on it so that women could pull the sled over. on ours it was never used at all. if you take off the jug to do the rings it is mounted above the carb under the fan duct (dont know proper name for it).
what happened to us was that the pin broke and went into the cylinder and trashed a new set of rings and piston. the fix we did was to find a steel plug the right size and weld it into the hole where the pin went. works like a charm. the only reason we had to do the piston was the oil pump linkage (looking down from the top it is on ls of carb) fell off on my dad on his way into camp and he scuffed the piston. 8years later we had to do the piston as it blew on me in the back yard at the end of the season.


there tought little sob. ours was the rookie sled for the longest time cause it was small and light so if a rookie sledder got stuck it was easy to get them out. to this day my dad wished he had put a spedo on that little bugger cause the damn thing never seemed to sit still. must have over 10,000 miles on the damn thing. i still miss it when in the twistys on a trail with my sxr.
