A Helix question

Hey guys, I have a bit of a problem and am looking for info on it. My sled starts out and revs to 8900 rpm, as I get about 300 feet down (trying for 660) my revs drop down to 8600 perfect there but high at the start, My helix angle is 41/35, If I dropped my first angle down to 39/35 would it lower my rpm's at the take off and then rise to the max 8600 rpm where I want it to be????

That would raise rpm,s right thru the shift. you need more weight in the 1st hole of your weights. A lower initial angle will raise rpm,s right thru the hole shift.

You can also try putting alittle more weight on to get your RPM'S down and if you find you still lose RPM'S at full shift try a primary spring with the same pretension and a higher fullshift rate. Looks like you are fine tuning now.
