Stumbled across an Apex at Pat's

Mr. sled have you tryed the new nytro yet? i love the look of that sled but it has the same motor as the vector that i tryed in calabogie and personally that vector run like a 3 legged dog. just wondering if the clutch and gear changes made a difference
thanks for your input

Mr Sled,

I am wondering what kind of rider you are and what the trails are like where you ride?

I like the GT but am getting swayed by all the attak talk. I ride in Vermont where the trails are tight and twisty. I keep up with the local young riders and don't get passed. Although the attack seams nice, I do think it will be slower for a hard rider.

Once again, your thoughts.

Bob

insane, I have driven the Nytro but only for a few miles..nothing like what I have logged on the Apex...the Nytro really got up and hauled ...it was fun...not a top end sled, just really fun ditch banger....it felt extremely light and really flew flat thru the air.

Bob,
I run miles of tight twisty trail, some rail grades, moguls stutters..I hate bumps, I want to get thru them as fast as possible....I will pound the sled to death as long as it is not hurting me. I also did not have hundreds of miles on an Attak but the little time I did it was really a sure footed sled and it rode the twisties as good as the 121. I too had a hard time deciding...but I am going to stick to the 121 GT...the latest tech in shocks :)

Mr Sled,

Thanks for the reply, I ride like you it sounds, I have a sx 700 triple with M-10, I power through the mogals, the sled takes a beating, and so do I some times, I hope the difference in the two sleds is not that big, I also want the new shock tech! I don't want to be pushing around the corners, thats where the crashes happen. I also don't want to put all my hope in carbides, you know, a half day of hard riding with low snow can eat them up! or loose snow conditions, they don't bite ...etc.

I wish I could have both! Maybe one for the wife in 07?

Bob

I must say that from all of the users here at ty, thanks MrSled! you have a great site that you let us use, can provide great reviews and info on the new sleds, and have a working reputation with yamaha! truly a great asset yo all us owners and the guys who are simply fans! keep the reviews coming! any idea if they have set anything in stone yet as to the "final version" of the sleds? wondering what will be different from what I saw in Pittsburg NH a few weeks back.
