Who polish's thier tunnels?

Now that the season is over for me. I want to spend some time polishing up the aluminum parts on my 04 viper-s. Wondered what you guys were using, ie: tools, paste etc.
I would love to se some pics so I can see what to expect.

I've polished alot in my day, speaking as a trucker with tons of wheels and tanks to polish. The jewelers rouge that you see in the shape of a bar works good with a high speed buffer, but if you're going to do it by hand I would only use Lightning Shine made by Wizards. Its about twice as fast as Blue Magic and alot easier. You can find Wizards Lightning Shine at alot of truck stops or at a freightliner dealership. It will be well worth the effort to find it, it comes in a yellow bottle. You can also use it with a buffer to save even more time.

I have done this to three sleds that we own and it comes out awsome. Obviously the first thing you have to do is strip off the paint. I used boat stripper for our chassis. SOme people will recommend other things but as long as it gets the color off. After I made sure there was no more paint on the chassis, I used a 8" buffing wheel and some simi-chrome. Since I used a 8" wheel (all we had at the moment) I had a little bit to rub down by hand, in the end it is worth it. here are some pictures of my 2000 srx with the chassis polished. The last one is a picture of my chassis showing the reflection.

I have a polished viper and I used Mothers Crome/Alum polish. You can get it at Murrys Auto or any auto shop. I took off the seat and the black rear cover. I used the round terry cloth for the detail until it was BLACK and then used several white T-shirts. I imagine a wheel would help break the seal first. The sled already had the job done and all I did was touch it up. I also did the yamaha alum arm plugs. The sled looks great. Take you time. After each ride have a clean DRY towel and whip to a clean finish, this will help keep that shine through out the season.

Wizards is faster than mothers, I've used them all. If your sled is already polished then it doesn't matter as much which one you use. But if you need to really cut into dull aluminum then the wizards will cut your time in half. I have a box full of other brands that I've tried. When you have 150 gallon fuel tanks to polish time is everything.
