Summer toys anyone??

dokc, nice car. turbo? awd?? how old are you, if I can ask....toys say younger......must be taking my advice, keep the toys and stay young ;)

Kinda funny, before I bought the Cobra I was dangerously close to buying an 00 Civic Si. I had a 91 Si hatch and loved it. As great as Honda cars are, they will never give me the thrill that I get from that 32V V8!
 
Summer fun

I think I had posted something similar to this before, so some of you might have seen these pics.
We built a go kart track in my buddies back yard, black top and all. We modeled the track after Richmond, D-shaped oval. The track is about 500' around and we get these up to around 50 or so.
Tons of fun. we got about 10~12 people that all race together on Saturday afternoons. We make a big picnic out of the day. We get grill going with some burgers, dogs, keilbasa, bbq chicken... and of course a few suds.... just have to watch out for the deck on the house (which is surrounded by bails of hay). I've hit them, you bounce off them pretty good.
Most of the neighbors from up the road come down to watch and party with us. It's a riot !!!
how bad have you got it? yeah we have issues. ;)!

It's alot of fun.

srx rider, the cobra and Si are soooo totally differnt in every way :) I agree completely. only way I would say the Si was more fun would be with a vortech supercharger. then I could race and win against casr like yours and look stock and slow doing it ;) sleepers are fun, but mine will stay as a daily driver :)
 
Here my toy..lol , plan to put on dual track rims, and a 7" hydro up front over this summer. (My other winter sport is in the picture too i didn't notice till after i downloaded the cam)
 
Viperguy - I'm almost 30 (not too old lol). The Talon is both AWD and turbo...and not stock.

Timebomb - its a '00 1200r..with a few nice mods.
 
sounds like everyone has fun toys :) I actually WANT to grow up, so I can AFFORD to have fun lol! older I get, the more $$ it takes to entertain me lol
 
I just got a package deal on a pair of used Honda dirt bikes. My oldest of 3 boys is 6 so I found a xr50 and xr70 for sale. Once I get the boys going I will try to find a xr/crf for myself. Should be a fun summer, now if I could only get a two day weekend. Lots of nice toys out there. I would like a SugarSand jet boat for a water toy, anyone have pics of some. ViperXC
