Danger, i agree with you on the polaris primaries. I had real good luck with the polaris primary i put on my '97 sx race sled. It was a lot more predictable and seemed to be a lot easier to get strong belt force. To get real good belt force on the yamaha's you need the tiny rollers, but they really lose top end unless you throw in a lot of tip weight. P-85 was just easier to set up and work with when a lot of changes were necessary.

yamaholic I have to agree the p-85 is easy to tune. And yes 14.5 rollers and with HH it is a good idear to start by loading the tip and then and then the mid and last the heel, unlike the directions say.

I think Jeff's set up I got is perfect. Be very specific what you ask for when you ask. Don't give too many senerios, tell him exactly what you will do with the sled, how you ride, your weight, your mods, track, studs. It all plays a part in the set up. Every little detail changes settings.
I saw a huge prformance increase with what he sent me. For me knowing very little about clutches, it sure made it easy, and got the best bang for my buck. I am impressed.
