1989 Exciter, completely stock, aside from a horrible overfueling problem (rejetting/cleaning needed I'd guess?). I get close to like 6 miles per gallon, and fuel is USD$6.5 a gallon (no joke) here in Norway.

id have to fall in with the 7-10 mpg. crowd. it gets worse in the powder but what we call powder is a 5 mile lake that no one has been on till we get there...........can u say "sweet!". the sled is bone stock at present time eith mods up coming

stock 97 sx7, average 10-12mpg pretty agressive riding.

On my '97 sx 700 (the one i just sold to derrty_north_racing), i had aaen triple pipes, notched reeds, and clutched it and it would run 14-16 mpg consistently everyday. My '01 sxr 700, which has notched reeds and a bored out silencer, along with a tempaflow (but stock clutching) only gets about 12-14 mpg. Clutching it will make a big difference in your mileage
