Thanks for the comments. Nice to hear considering the amount of time I have into that thing. Still not fast enough though. Going to have to change a few more things this summer!!!

I actually have a fantasy garage that I am putting a bunch of sleds on the "must have" list for this garage in my head lol! want an 02 SRX, had a 97 600 sx and want one again (fond memories), a 99 700sx( love the super handling suspension and the blue), want a 97 vmax 4 800 (had a 96 and MISS IT and love the long travel and brake of the 97), a couple of the original srx's for obvious reasons......and to keep the viper and have a few 4 strokes. easy to love them all

good call on the sleds, i like your fantasy garage idea. Only thing i would change is go with the '01 SRX instead of the '02, i think the graphics look more attractive on the '01, and even though they are the same sled (with the exception of the DET sensor and the jetting), if you have the '01 you can laugh at everyone saying you have the exact same sled that holds the AmSnow fastest out-of-box 1/4 mile time. 12.003 seconds.

Madmatt,
nice sled! what do you think of the expert x? It's kind of a stupid question concidering it's hard to fairly judge the suspension under your sled that you cherish so much. But, in an honest opion tell me the likes and dislikes. Also have you ever rode an M10 and what did you think of it compared to the expert x?
what size billet wheels did you use on the back of expert anyway? where did you get them?
thanks for your time!

and I actually forgot a few...I think a MT LITE phazer would be neat, and a vmax 540, one of the later years (I liked the seat design better) and a 93 exciter SX... I YHINK that is all of them......for now lol!!! what you got in your fantasy garage??? we ought to make a dedicated thread......yamaholic22 said:good call on the sleds, i like your fantasy garage idea. I would like to do a new rear susp too but I hate to raise the front(which seems like a must) and loose that slot car cornering. Can either one of these (m10,xpert) be set up so there's more set(sit)-in so it doesn't sit so high?

I think they are both adjustable to some extent, and with different valving, springs either could be set up perfect for you.
you would want to drop preload and increase rate, like I said both are adjustable to some extent, I think the ExpertX has a ride hight adjuster built in (my old one has a couple different lower monting holes) you can probably get by easier with the expert on looser spring settings because thier dynamic stopper stops hard bottoming.
