you know i'm not positive but i think that all of the replacements for them are stainless now. I dont think you can get the old style ones anymore. I'm not positive, but i think...
I ordered reed stops from the dealer, when I got them they were stainless. I didn't give them a number or specify ss.

yea i think when yamaha realized there were some problems with them they made a permanent switch to the stainless ones to eliminate the problems. Too bad Poo didn't do this with their problematic variable exhaust valves on the 800 twins. They only made the titanium updated valves for like a year, and now they are discontinued.
