Ski,
If you are looking for carbs, I have a pair of TM38's.

Well I haven't even driven it yet, so I better wait and see what it goes like first. I am also very interested in fuel mileage so If I have to give up 15% of the efficiency to get 8 hp it's not worth it for me.
Switching to 600 Top End
Hey Guys to switch out my top end to a 99 600(New Jugs, Head and Wiesco Pistons) I gonna have to also get a cdi, and a wiring harness? The carbs are the same as the 600's and she has a TPS on her already. I know I'm going to have to rejet anyway. Was thinking bout a set of K&N's for her? Which will get alot more air in there. Do the make aftermaket cdi's for sled like the do atv's? Thx Jon

the 99 600 SXs are triples, you have to go with '98 or older 600 which is still the twin
99 Vmax 600 (VX600C) is a twin but what excaultly do I have to switch over? just cdi or do I need harness too?
Looking at the exploded view the 500 cdi only has two connections and the 600 3 connections some im thinkin I answered that?

the 600 has a throttle position sensor
Is it different than the one that is on the throttle body of the carbs? You talking bout the TORS? Cuz she's got that.

The TPS is on the clutch side of the carbs. The TORS and TPS are two completely different things. The TPS adjusts the timing according to your throttle position. The TORS is a safety device which keeps the sled from going if the throttle is sticking at all.

(8CR-11311-00-00) 600 Jug (2)

Obviously Pistons set of Weiscos
Do I need anything else guys or should that do it to switch her over?

bigger jets for the 600, probably bigger pilots, maybe different needle position.

I doubt that the 600 had bigger jets in it ...I would find factory specs for that first. I know that the 97 98 vmax 500 and 600 had Identical carbs including jets both main and pilot. I assume you guys are talking about 96 and older 600's which I don't have specs for. You may find this chart of some use.

Ya well if I do those K&N's im deff gonna have to go with bigger jetting
I already have a thin head gasket from hauck 600 power up kit (reeds, spacers and gasket). I clutched the 500 earlier this year w/ 8AB's with 2.4 in both holes and a 47/41 prolly gonna go to a 51/43 also have 3 engagement shims in there right now.
