Help quick! Powervalves not operating...

Just bought a 98 srx 600, and the powervalve's are not working. The powervalve actuator motor is not recieving any power, yet we have tested the motor on a bench, and the motor works. We have tested the motor with the wire kit that is used to clean the powervalves, and still no signal the motor.

We have tried 2 different cdi's, one old, and one brand new, and still nothing. wondering if anyone else has run into the same problem, or has ANY kind of insight, since we're lost.

Your key has to be on and the kill switch must be up (everything in the "run" position) for the batter-test conection setup using the end in the wire harness. I left the kill switch on once and scratched my head for a few minutes. If you find out something is wrong w/your servo motor, I think I have a spare here somewhere. Find a buddy w/an srx and do the test in his and swapped over into your sled, and see if it works in both. That will tell you if something might be wrong in your servo motor or not. (hopefully you have a friend w/a viper or srx). Good luck. Hope you find your problem. Electrical problems can suck. I had the temp light flashing codes at me, and after wasting a day tracing it out, I found a bad ground wire on a plug. Luckily it was the ground wire and not the main wire. I'd be screwed. thanks for the replies guys, my dad and brothers got it figured out after messing with it for a while. The original owner had two feed wires and one ground wire coupled together for some reason? i'm not sure why they did that, since the second owner, from what we could tell, tried everything to try and fix this, then finally gave up and sold it us cheap, they tried checking the servo motor, cdi box, various other things from what we could tell. Heh, well everything seems to be fine now.

The temp light flashes quickly at me at about 80, we adjusted the powervalves to the best of our knowledge, does anyone have any tips on how to do this and what to look for? Thanks guys.
