2000, you run that on the Chain? or Lake Michigan? The inside looks very similiar to our old Baja 280 sport the gauges the sliding door etc. Single 502 motor now, thats still a hog, but theres nothing like doin mach 8 with your hair on fire!

yes, that's the trail sled in the winter.
11.27 @ 111.35mph in the quarter so far. That was with the same clutching I ran all winter. So far I've only made changes to dial in the suspension.

Always love the opportunity to post a pic of one of my jeeps Just got back from a cruise across Wisconsin from the UP to Southern Minnesota. Been tinkering with jeeps for about 25 years now. I consider this one a resto-mod. Pretty much a stock jeep with some old school goodies. Detroit lockers front/rear, 35" tires, 4.56 gears, 8 point roll cage with frame tie in, suspension seats, harnesses, YJ 3.5" lift springs, in dash monster tach, 2 5/8" autometer gauges, gm tilt steering column, 6 bolt disk brakes, power steering and I am sure there is a partridge and a pear tree in there somewhere.
I have used it as my therapy in recovering from cancer/bone marrow transplant. When I went for transplant there were no seats, dash or wiring in the jeep. I bought a grant steering wheel for it in 2002 when I was in San Antonio for transplant. Kept it with me all the time. When I got back home my wife would lift me up in the jeep so I could sit on a bucket and hold my steering wheel. It is a work in progress and I have a lot more I plan to do to it. Mostly finishing touches.
