Changing main jets on Smartcarbs

I noticed my new (old) 97 600MM was running richer the higher I went last week. Since the machine came from Alberta and I am in BC, I thought that it might be a main jet issue notwithstanding the smartcarbs. I run at 3000-6000 feet. Its usually not too cold here -5c maybe -10c. The main is a 152.5 and the little jet at the opening of the carb intake is an 85. Any ideas or is this the typical smartcarb dance? A couple of observations...it ran well when I opened her up and I just noticed that I used a lot of oil.
 
Here is a set up I have used in my sled from day one. My home elevation is 2000' and when we go to the mountains we can range all the way to 7500'. Temps may very from -20C to +10C.
This machine runs great all the time.
Main jet 157.5
Pilot 62.5
Needle clip in #2 with both washers on top.
Remember with these smart carbs, you will never get the same performance (running on the edge) as manually jetted carbs, but it should run pretty good and consistant.
I never foul plugs. Actually I just change out once a year just because.
 
oil pump settings

Hey Dutchman, have you made any adjustments to your oil pump settings or have you completed any of the suggested tech updates for this motor. I pulled the carbs off last night and noticed some belt dust is getting in there. I am going to plug the drain holes.
 
Yes mine also used too much oil. I was told that they come from the factory like that. After a few hundred kms I brought it in for it's initial checkup. The dealer changed the the oil pump setting. After all the cables are adjusted properly, the lines on the pump no longer line up. The line is about 1/16" shy. I can go through 2 tanks of fuel before starting to worry of running out of oil.
I do not know how to get rid of the belt dust issue, but it will cause a missing problem if one of the small holes in the carb throat get plugged. Must be some kind if sensor in there.
Your asking of engine mods. The only thing I have changed is the thinner (6mm) head gasket and the carb settings. Also have a Bender exhaust can which in my opinion didn't change the performance, but it sure sounds sweet.
The dealer (Redline Powercraft) is the one that changed all these things, without altering the warranty.
