How is the weight transfer on the Edge and Pro-X skids?? Is the ride quality on the Edge skid just as good as it is on the Pro-X?? Obviously the Pro-X skid is going to be better for jumping. :)
weight transfer can be adjusted on both to flip backwards if you wanted to. it can also be almost eliminated for all out cornering too. the edge is an all around great ride. it wont hang with the pro x in the fast rough stuff. the pro x is a little stiff in the small slow stuff, but smooth and stable in the hard, big moguls.

ok, powerpoint pics cant be posted. if anyone wants the diagram let me know and ill email it to you.

i dont have a srx to check, but i cant think of a reason why it wouldnt. (should be the same tunnel?) by the way the measurements are from the inside top of the tunnel, if you mark the mounting holes on the outside you need to add the thickness of the tunnel to it. just make your marks, triple check the measurements and everything should work out. i checked everything i could think of (including tunnel width, tunnel clearance, mounting bolt placement, center to center) and everything looks like it will work perfectly. if you do it, replace the front track spring with a polaris part #7041679-067. the stock one is super stiff unless you weigh 500lbs. if you get the shocks freshened up its also a good idea to get the rear one valved a little softer. if you need a good shock guy that knows pro x's p.m. me and ill give you his info. also pull the limiter straps up to the shortest position or you will have a wheelie machine!

The text in the top right......is that 7" or 9"??? Looks more like a 7, but kinda looks like a nine too.....lol.

I'm thinking about going 136" also. If I don't do it right away I could always go 136" later without any problems I would think????

85% of my riding is in the ditches, the rest in powder, and a small percentage racing.
The ditches get pretty bumpy so I think the Pro-X skid would be better for me than an Edge skid.

its 7" for the plate movement. you can extend it just like any other skid. if you go 136", get the maxx tunnel extension. you can use the stock rear heat exchanger then. its also not too long like most other extensions.

did anyone actually get this done? If so, how hard was it, and pics of thenew setup verses the old would be great. I have an srx and would like to get a better skid for it, this just might be the ticket.

if you can drill and replace rivets and accuratly measure its quite simple. you would definatly have to long travel it in the front, because the rear will sit a little higher than a viper or sxr (im guessing about 1.5").
