Viper Hard Starting

02 Viper has had problems starting after sitting for the summer.The first year had to dump fuel in the spark plug hole to get it running, dealer found no problems. This year the sled will not start at all, it has spark,fuel and nothing in the can (like a rats nest). Anyone had the same problem and a good fix?

Had a hard time with my 02 Viper this season as well. At the end of the season I guess I'm going to replace the fuel pump. Got this suggestion from a friend but haven't tried it yet. Something about the fuel pump allowing the float bowls to run dry over a long period of time. Kind of makes sense to & me fuel pumps are relatively cheap and easy enough to replace. Make sense to anyone else?

Just re-read your post & I missed the part about not starting at all, duh!
To get mine started this year I ended up going through about a dozen plug changes ( I had a bunch of spares). I had gas & spark as well. Long process but once I got it running, it was fine. I wrote that off as a combination of stabilizer, old gas & fogging oil. If I let this thing sit for 2 or 3 weeks, it starts hard......that's the fuel pump issue, I think???
Never had an issue when I could start them up occasionally in the summer, just wasn't able to do that this year so they sat for about 8 months. I say they because I had the same trouble with the SRX.
