I have a 80 srx that has weak spark for about 4 pulls then it just goes away, any ideas would help. I have changed the coil, stator plate,and cdi box and the same thing.
hows yer grounds look?

Everything is by passed and grounds are good. I am going to try changing the magneto and see if that works. The only thing I have not changed is the voltage regulator,I don't know if that has anything to do with spark though.
the voltage reg is just for the lights and shouldnt be part of this problem.
hmm..........sounds like its time to get the volt meter out and check all the wires for continuity whlie moving the harness assuming all coils test within spec with the ohm meter.
check for rubbed spots on the wireing harness too. might have rubbed through under the motor like the vipers did
