1982 yamaha 440 ss

I'm in dire need of a cdi box for a 1982 yamaha 440 ss.
this machine is in good shape other than the cdi box. It would be a crime to dispose of it for thios reason. can it be wired for one off of a phaser or other 440. is it possible that you may know the where abouts of one, if so would you please let me know.

I would try www.shadetreepowersports.com they should have it and price should be pretty good. I just bought a coil for my 78 et250 from them.
