Eric,
Maybe age has to do with it??? It's irresponsible for anyone with a family or at least those with the ability to put things into perspective to not have these rising prices affect them and the things they do or are planning to do. I have yet in my 38 years to have the luxury of picking money off of a tree in my back yard. Therefore, I use my common sense to pick and choose what's important and what's not. Our family's making sacrifices and if Hayday's was in the plan, that too would go by the wayside.
Snowmobiling is extremely important to me, but to have it control me to the point of making bad decisions when it comes to the finances and for the well being of my family is downright ignorant. If you have the ability and funds to continue to play, consider yourself lucky. I, on the other hand will think very carefully this fall and winter and spend extremely wisely in all I do.

I agree with ecopter. I changed our plans on going. My oldest boy is crushed because he had a blast last year. I explained to him that by not going we could save for our trips this winter. He seemed to be ok with that. I agree with whats being said here. I do think if people stopped traveling needlessly and if the truckers sat out for a day or two that the oil barons and the gov would wonder what the hell is going on. Imagine what would happen if the truckers stopped moving. We would be screwed!! To all you truckers out there, THANKS!!!!! You are part of the backbone of America.
