Snowmobile Southern Vermont?

Does anyone go to Southern Vermont? My wife is pregnant this year and I am trying to stay closer to home. I usually go to Lyndenville and North (ex 23).

So what is it like in southern Vermont? Where can I stay? is there any snow? is there any safe parking for a day trip?
