Viper Windshield removal

how do you remove the windshield on vipers?

unscrew the 2 screws, take out the plastic tube thing that holds the windshield against the fairing (underneath the screw) and pop it out.

Yes the two screws and pop the shield off the posts, should pull right out.

where are the 2 screws? Itried last winter so I could clean my dash better (yes, I am THAT crazy lol!) and couldnt get it... am I just "special"? what am I doing wrong??

i never thought there were screws either. i always thought it just popped off somehow

And all this time I thought the only way to remove it was in tree wells, parts and pieces everywhere.
