Piston life on bb 700


I built the same engine in 1995. Used Wiseco 80 MM ultra light pistons I think. Never had a piston failure. Could not get the first version the stop detonating. Second version had increased transfer ports and worked real strong. Mine had decked cylinders and a reworked head. It was built for altitude but I used it at 1800 ft on premium fuel with no failures. When I sold the cyliners and pistons, I was proud of the fact that the pistons still had the machining marks on the skirts. Hope this helps you.
