too light means low rpm on top and less backshift.....great upshift though
and too tight means high rpms the shift wont be that great if too tight
the best place to start is at 70 degrees wrap with whatever helix and then set your rpms with your primary........of course correct me if im wrong.....but thats my understanding
With too light secondary pressure your sled will upshift too quick & probably have a bog or the belt will slip in the secondary. Too tight & you won,t shift out all the way & be in too low a gear. Compare it to driving your car on the hiway. Too loose wrap is like driving 25 mph in overdrive. Too tight is like 60 mph in 2nd gear.
