Ahhh...there's a couple of slight differences between the two areas.
Id be alot happier with my decision if I could find a damn entry level job in my field.

I'm a NY State Corrections officer at Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora NY. If you are looking for other means of work, DON'T DO THIS ONE!!!. The pay is ok, but the job is thank less. Brad

Have you tried MWH (sears tower) or Sargent & Lundy Both are big in the power plant design. I used to be a tunnel Engineer for MWH but I know they have Mech Eng. on staff. They are the two big Firms in Chicago and me a Civil I do not know of to many Mech Eng Consulting Firms. If you are un married and have no children the travel of the big firms is fun for the first couple of years. Until they tell you have the option of lay off or go too China with out your Family for two years.

In my house of pain
Wasn't I worth the time
A boy needs a daddy like dance to mime
And all the time I looked up to you
I paced my room a million times
And all I ever got was one big line
The same old lie
How could you?
