What do you guys do for work??

im an operating Engineer for a road construction outfit in Michigan. We work all over the state, I mostly operate the concrete pavers and maintainence work on them.

Account mgr here for Onyx Acceptance. We provide auto loans through dealers. Basically, I visit dealerships and build relationships with the Finance mgrs so they will use our company for their customers' loans. Put about 4000 miles/month on my car, but I'm not locked up in an office with anyone looking over my shoulder, or putting up with the usual office gossip, and pretty much set my own hours. Before this I was a finance mgr in a dealership for 7 years.

Well I just finished my first month running a Bombardier Atv and Skidoo dealership. But my blood still is blue. I couldnt get my own store right now so this is at least a step in the right direction. The owner also told me if the doos work out he might look at letting me add Yamaha next year.

i work days on a diary farm, and nights as a self employed welder. currently im welding in gladstone MI at surplus steel center. the owner is setting up a bunch of log trucks with boxes for disaster relif for hurricane katrina

Fire Fighter for the Indianapolis Fire Department. In my part time I'm in the Army Reserves serving as a Drill Sergeant training Infantry recruits at Ft. Benning.

Computer systems analyst. I help build computer applications/systems for big companies. I'm the guy between 'the company wanting a computer application' and 'the programmers'. I was a programmer but wanted to be more 'client-facing', so I climbed the corporate ladder.
