A friend of mine tried this. The hood won't fit either. Maybe, if you can fit the SRX hood on the SXR??????

SRX hood won't fit unless you swap out the SXR bellypan for SRX bellypan.

Here's a pretty sweet SXR with a Viper motor. It doesn't show underhood pics or documentation though.

i think the only problem is you may have to modify the direction of the exhaust pipe, there are guys running Viper exhausts on sx's so it has to fit somehow, the motor will bolt in with mount bracket changes, the carbs may hit the steering post so you'll have to change that, you'll have to have the wiring harness complete but it sounds like you could do it.........
