Where should I put the probe on my 700sx with a stock pipe? I was going to put it at the end of the manifold just before where the pipe connects. Do you think this will work OK? Or should I put it in the pipe?

it's usually 7-8 inches from the piston, but i would call the manufacture of the probe and guage and find out for sure.On that motor you could of put a three probe system on so you could monitor all three cylinders seperatly and have the probes in the manifold.If the probe is to close to the piston it will read a lower temp the same as being to fare away.Just my 2 cents
