90 Phazer...is there a throttle sensor?

Well, took the Phazer project on tonight, cleaned the carbs, new fuel pump, etc etc. I thought it would pop right off, nope!! I find later that if i have the throttle squeezed ever so slightly it starts and runs great! But when its at the seat position the sled dies, squeeze a little, it comes back. Is there some type of sensor in there like my polaris has? Thanks for any help!

It's TORS, it's a small switch... just disconnect it, and tie in the butt - ends of the connectors back together.

Just look at the "throttle stop" idle screw, the thing has like a switch built in...
