Heated grips on a SRV 540 ??

Can I add heated grips to a 1989 Yamaha SRV 540? and if I can where do I tap into some power?? Or is this a no no?? I have an extra set from my Vmax I'd like to put on this SRV sled..

used the blue wire behind the headlamp switch, also make sure you add a ground wire from the engine to the frame, those things had grounding problems when you added grips. What year Vmax grips are they, if they are to new they won't work. You need to used some plain jane hot grips....
