Installing A Rip Saw????????

What will I have to do to install a ripsaw 1.25 on my 2000 SRX? I know this question has been asked a 1000 times. I want to run at least 96 picks or more if possible. I currently run a SIMONS 780 KIT with a ARTIC CAT ZR900 skid, the transfer is awsome now but I have to get more bite!!!!!!!!!

Well if you want to stud it, it CAN be done with the 9 tooth drivers according to maddogg, but you really have to watch the track tension and don't run studs that are too long. If you want to play it safe and not have to worry about anything, jump down to 8 tooth drivers and stud that baby up. Make sure you have all the heat exchanger and tunnel protectors. Also if you go down to the 8 tooth drivers you will have to correct the gear ratio in the chaincase. Nothing to difficult, traction is great with the ripsaw too. Good luck

if you go with 8 tooth drivers, get a fully clipped track and run extroverts. the cat skid might prevent racheting, but i would play it safe and run them from the start.

these are the drive gears that have the cog sticking up that will fit deeper into the track opening. These cogs drive the track and make it imposible to ratchet.
