my dad beats me off the line and across the lake on his 05 vector er and my 03 viper. no "lag" just quiet. doesnt YOUL when you hit it. just grunts and goes

I bet your over reving. I think we are loosing out with the stock track. The damn thing does not hook up. A vector does make nice power.

I think the only thing killing me is the track, my revs are spot on if you look at the tracks we leave though, dad spins about 10 feet, and I spin about 30-40 feet. he does have a lot more midrange though. I top out better and have better top end snap. I could ride either and love it lol
