Bost bottle should i put one on?

i looked at the tech page and it has plans for a bost bottle and i can have one made pretty cheep. but i heard that it can twist the crank or blow the top end. is any of this true? do u guys think i should put one on it says it ads 8hp on the low and 4 on top. please give me ur advice

It really only helps ported engines.

I have one on my 2000 SX700r. I think all it really did was give me better throttle response. That and the VForce 3 reeds, my sled really takes off out of the hole. I polished it up so I think it looks pretty cool, to. I have had no problems at all. I also have the center layer removed from the head gasket. NO PROBLEMS at all. Runs great.
I have never heard of it blowing your top end.

I put one on a few years ago with no problems so far, also have one layer of head gasket removed, pipes, gearing and clutching.
The center carb on my sled did hit, so I added some rubber pads under the airbox.

I had to shim the motor up a bit to get the carbs to clear...
