i just happen to have a standard pro x seat in the garage. i tossed it on to the viper and it will work with 4 mounting holes in the tunnel. it is 2" taller than the viper seat and is a much nicer position, it fits a little goofy around the gas tank, but if the 2 tabs are removed from the seat it should look decent. ill post pics tomorrow. even though its not the shorty, it will give you an idea.

i dont believe that is the riser

i got a prox2 shorty seat that i am puttin on my project sled. i'm lookin for the 12 gal black gas tank by poo to see how it would fit and look otherwise i'll stick with the stock one and when i have it recovered, i'll just have them mold it to the tank better.

I was thinking about making a riser for mine too - the 04 seat is comfortable, but too low!

I sat on one of those short XR seats and thought my cement floor in the garage was nicer... guess it is all inhow you ride lol! I am in the seat all day hitting groomed trails so it makes no sense to me to stand. just how my trails are. I would assume that you could just do a little adjusting and make it fit though, without a LOT of problems. post pics if you try!
