total perfomance intake valves?

does any one have the maxxperfomance intake valves on there sled? it looks like they work like drilling the airbox but there filtered and adjustable for how much extra air u wanna let in. i was thinkin about gettin them and was just wondering what u guys thought.
 
please has any one drilled the air box or bought the vavles id like to know who well they work so i dont waste my money if i buy them and they suck
