2005 Highlight Vid

Nice video man!! :WayCool:

BTW what camera you using the quality was awesome

That’s awesome. I just bought one for motocross but the video camera cant handle the landings or the whoops without all these lines across it. When you watch it, it almost makes you puke. But now I can’t wait to use it on the sled. What do you put the camera in? Some footage of hauling through the woods on a tight trail will be fantastic. Also a couple of shots of the speedo while hauling through the woods will be cool. Good job.

Is there any specific codec you need to play this video? I can't get it to play in my windows media player.
It took a long time for it to load on my PC about 3 to 4 min. and thats with a cable connection.

Great Vid both the kids and I watched it 2 times:WayCool:

where is the blue?????

Sorry guys. I rode Yamaha for 9 years up until this past season, but wasn't thrilled with the 05 Yamaha lineup. If the APEX GT had been offered last year, I would still be on a Yamaha. I am giving Doo a shot right now, but I will probably be back with my next sled.

I am going to pick your brain a little 8) .

What kind of editing soft where are you using?

To make 2-3 min video how long did it take you?

How much actual footage (time) of tape (for lack of a better term) did you have to go through to make it?

I have wanted to do some editing of the family movies; I just have no idea of the time involved.

Any info would be great to help me get started ;)!

I use Pinnacle Studio 8 software to edit my movies. It is pretty easy to use and once you get the hang of it, you can edit footage pretty quickly.

I made a 47 minute DVD of all of our footage from last year. By the time I did all of the editing, put in titles and menus, added all of our digital pictures to it, and put together the highlight clip, I probably had 7 or 8 hours tied up in it. That is editing down 5 or so hours of footage into 47 minutes. The highlight clip was the last thing I did and that only took about 45 minutes because most of the editing was already done.

If you just spend an hour on it here and an hour there, it comes together pretty quickly. When you are done and you can throw it in your DVD player and watch it, the time spent seems more than worth it.
