I had the hood piece of my new RTX leaning up next to the wall and my young son steped on the edge of it with his dirty sneakers putting some scratches in it about an inch long. What is the best polish to use on it to get them out of the clearcoat?

If they are through the clear you will never get them out. A good test is to try to feel them with your fingernail. If you can't then they will polish out. Get a clean rag and use a circular motion with Meguires swirl remover. If that doesn't work move up to the more abraisive light compound (meguires still). If that doesn't work give up and give your apex to me.
