Engine sputter under full throttle

I have a 700 MM and it has been giving me this nagging problem this year.
I can sit at the bottom of the hill, fire it up and make a run. it runs great, I try it again right away and I will get 1/2 way up and it feels like it dropped a cylinder. Sit again for awhile and it runs fine for the 1st pass. Things that I Have done, Rebuilt both primary and secondary, I now believe I was mistaking it for a bog before and that was not the problem.
Any suggestions
 
Although it may be difficult on a hill, I would stop as soon as it does it and look at the plugs and pistons. Be careful running it when it does that in case it is leaning out for some reason. If you are able to get the plug / piston condition please post.
 
I am also having this problem. except my sputter goes away at full throttle. the dealer said i just have to hammer on the throttle more. i told him it wasnt like this before. cant find any answers.

I have pulled the reeds out and inspected them...checked ok. The plugs checked out fine although I did run the machine down the hill kill it and checked them. They were burning fine. Compression is equal across the board. The clutch face on the primary was way to hot to hold. I have spoke to the dealer this morning and they said they have never seen a coil go on one of these...anybody have a coil go?
 
Anything man-made can fail at some point, but it doesn't sound like a coil to me. Electrical parts tend to work or not work. It does however sound like you have excessive belt slippage.

Have you tried a new belt?
Is the current belt wear within specs?
Are your deflection, offset, center-to-center, and alignment within spec?

What happens to the rpms when the power loss occurs?
 
I will be pulling 8800 and then it drops to 5000 and no power.....almost reminds me of driving up a hill in my old truck in third and then shifting to a very tall 4th and the power drops right out. Can this happen to a CVT clutch? curious? I'm going to try a new belt this weekend and see. So far the recommends are : Disconnect the TORS just to try, Replace coils one at a time.
