What should a leftover 04 Viper S cost?

I am looking for a leftover or slightly used Viper S, I found a leftover but they want 6,600.00 for it. This is a brand new sled. It seems a little high to me. I need some input. Thanks
 
I've seen them for less, but if you really want one you gotta take what you can find. Unlike Doritos, they are not going to make more . . .
 
I saw a couple brand new ones in the MPLS area after the 2004 winter (May 2004) for as low as 5K. I wouldn't spend more than that on one now. Keep in mind you can get a used 02/03 viper ER for under 4K now with about 1000 miles on it if you look around.

I bought a brand new 2002 viper last fall (sep 2004) for $4400.
 
There was alot of "dumping" going on last spring and there was some deals then but they may be all gone. There's 4 S's I know of the my area and they're not any cheaper, the dealers are holding out for the 2 stroke fanatics.
 
I wouldn't go more than $5000. For $6600 you probably could get an 05 Vector. I got offered $5500 for a leftover 04 SXV S last Jan 05 in NY when my stator went out on my SX7 during our annual ride trip. Glad I waited for the 06s. The 05 Vectors are supposed to be great sleds. Offer them $5k and see what they do?
 
$4500,4900 is a steal. wish i had some xtra jing!! I have been finding out that a few dealers around the mlps area are in no rush to give a great deal, mainly because the yami 2 strokes are no longer (viper,srx) and they know theyre gonna hold value.
heck all the brand new viper s in the area are asking about $5900 and a new 05 rx1 $6100
 
You guy's are kill'n me. I am off to a swap meet tomorrrow and was taking my Viper-s with a for sale sign on it! I was not sure what to ask for it. Now I am not sure I want to take it at all. $4800? There is NO WAY I would even consider selling mine for that price. These sleds are awsome! I paid 6500 for mine beginning of last season, and I thought I got a fair deal. Now I am confused as to what these are worth. Any isea's what I could excpect to get for it?
 
Come on 5 grand for a brand new Viper S..Any dealer who is selling tahat is a moron. I mean...come on that is a 7500 machine brand new. And as far a Vector. The Viper will eat it!! :WayCool:
 
Just picked up the 02 viper last night 0miles 4400.00. They have 1 left 03 red viper er 5200.pro motor sports fond du lac wi.
 
Bought a new 03' Viper ER last Feb for $5000 from R & B Motorsports in WAUKEGAN, IL. Back then they had another 03' ER and an 03 standard blue still left.
