With the wheels added will you gain any topend? Also changing the stock idlers to larger ones will that help top end also?

Well anytime you reduce friction and rolling resistance your gonna gain speed. the bigger wheels reduce the bending of the track which eats up power and scrubs off speed, the easier it is to bend, the easier it rolls across the ice.
Easy way is to use polaris 5.350 wheels on all 6 skid wheels, then use 7.5" rear wheels from a 79 srx440, then use the marginal wheels up at the curve of the rails, then put a new set of black graphite sliders on a table saw, cut them down so they are 1/8th of an inch thick, and install them, thats how youll get free top end speed.

Is it necessary to change the six 5.125 idlers or can you just change the 4 on the outside of the rail?

How much top end should you expect going to the polaris wheels and marginal wheel kit as well?

you probably won't notice a difference, and if you do it will depend on conditions. Obviously high friction conditions will benefit more from the larger wheels

is there a part number to use when visiting the polaris dealer to get the larger wheels. I want some red ones for the front four idler wheels.
