I'm in the process of cleaning my sled up good before winter. So far I've washed it, polished the hood, polished clutch cover, and polished the pipes. I will have pics up sometimes for you guys to see.
I was just wondering what you use to clean all the
off the bellypan.
The other things I plan on doing is, wax the hood and I'm thinking about stripping the tunnel.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

i use a degreaser, hot water and a scrub brush. if its really bad you can use a soft brass bristle grill brush and some bleach white tire cleaner. as far as the tunnel, i personally wouldnt do it. it is a LOT of work!

I'll try some degreaser first. I have some of it here at home. I wish we had a hardware store or a Wal-mart, but what can you expect with a town of 350 people!

If that doesn't work, I'll try some Simple Green or Greased Lightning.

Thanks for the comment on the tunnel stripping n2oiroc. I figured it would be more work than it is worth to strip the tunnel and always having to keep it shiny.

simple green and greased lightning are degreasers too. i was just using a generic term. no brand preferance here.

I had been wondering the same. My seat is getting a little dirty.. What's the best stuff to use to clean that? Also, I have a bunch of little scratches on my hood.. Anything I can use to fill?

bleach white, you can WATCH the stuff run off the side of the belly pan. always works for me. if you wet the pan first it wont harm the plastic and wont dry on at all. works fan-freakin-tastic

Don't use brake cleaner, lol. My buddy had his rev in at the dealer to get the flaking rings replaced under warranty, and they wanted to show him how to clean his bellypans, so they used brake cleaner. Now the pans are all faded with a white haze, looks like garbage. Although it did take the carbon off with it, lol

This is the best stuff I've found - spray it on, and rinse it off - you only have to scrub if it is really heavy - http://www.biokleen.com/products.asp?cat=10

WD-40 or you can use Citrus Engine cleaner and a scrub brush. Works great

careful with the citrus cleaner, it took all the chrome off the lettering on moms snowflap. dad found out too late, he had already taken it off lol!

Keep That Brake Kleen Away From Anything On Your Sled, especially The Windshield,it Will Froste It And There Is Nothing You Can Do,that Stuff Has A Acetone Of Some Sort In It,hell On Paint And Plastic.
