Just gut it cheaper and sounds good! Get about the same performance....about nothing. Why spend 400$ on sound when you can get it for maybe free if you can cut and weld the muffler yourself. Just My .02
Oh and there is some sound clips in the photo page of TY main page of a bunch fo different exhausts.

White Knuckle QC-1 is not too loud and has a great tone to it. Fit and finish are good, easy to install, and best of all, LIGHTER!

I had a white knuckle exhaust when I bought a used rx1 from some kid it sounded great for about the1st hour of riding then it got real old nobody even wanted to even ride close to me so I traded it off & reinstalled the factory exhaust & I noticed it had been cut open & reweld it has a nice sound a little louder then the factory exhaust

Max Perf or White Knuckle both sounds really great!! http://www.totallyamaha.com/snowmobiles/aaTECH/RX1Exhaust/RX1MaxxExhInstall.htm

we tried two exhausts on my fathers rx1 mountain last year
1 was the white knuckle qc-1
and the other i cant remember the name
one race one was trail the race was extremely loud that loud that it hurt youre ears if you turned your head to the back of the sled.
i will get some pics of the exhaust that i cant remember the name of someone will be able to tell me what it is.
it was a white knuckle gp-1 exhaust and the qc-1 eshaust. both were an excellent fit but the gp1 was lighter and way better sound. insanely sweet sound. check out www.whiteknuckleperformance.com they have sound clips on both exhausts

thanks for all the input guys.. i have an mbrp race can on my sxr and it is louder than heck and i love it... my sister is alittle jelouse becouse her rx 1 sounds slow compared to mine, granted she has a 100cc 4 stroke and i gotta 500 twin but hey it sounds fast so thats all that matters right?? so she wants something that sounds like it has power.. i don't want her to get any tickets or anything though. im looking more and more at the gp1 since i love the sound of loud sleds but im wondering if it would be too much for her.. i have a feeling she isn't gonna get on it too hard and really rev it up to make some noise enough to attract attention and get a ticket or anything but i don't want her to be annoyed at the end of the day from the WOT WOT coming out of the tailpipes...thanks alot guys..daneg

you really dont need to rev up teh motor to hear the roar of the gp-1. its gonna attract alot of attention at only 2000 rpms from there it just gets more head turns. also it gains 4 h.p. i found that you could feel teh difference, probably more from the weight savings tho' i dont know if the gp-1 will be right for her since at the end of the day ur probably gonna have a ticket and really loud ringing in the ears. if i was you i would go with the qc1 real nice sound but not overly painful. the sound clips on there site dont give the pipes justice.
either way there both really nice systems.
