The 700 MM engine uses a fixed engine torque limiter to prevent the engine movement. MPI's catalogue advertises an aftermarket adjustable version that claims to be an improvement over the stock one. Anyone have experience with the MPI torque stop? Is the stock one inadequate?

stock one isnt inadequit, just not adjustable.but i have heard that some of the adjustable ones the rubber pad on the end wears out fast, not sure of the ones in question though.maxximum performance sells thease torque limiters as well.hope this helps you out,try a search on ty on the topic.

I had the Maxx Perf one for 6 yrs, and with seasonal adjustment, the pad never wore out.
