Brass fuel fittings

I need to build a T fitting to supply fuel to the jets added from the nitrous kit. I have purchased a brass T fitting as well as 3 brass barbed fittings that will thread into the T. Should I use teflon tape on the brass threads? If not teflon, is there a thread lubricant/sealant that should be used for gas?

dont use teflon tape! use a paste thread sealer in the plumbing dept.

all the nitrous kit manufactures recommend not using it. im not exactly sure the reason behind it, but i have played it safe and used pipe thread compound on the systems i have done. no problems yet!
