Where is a good place too go N.Y.

I'm thinking of going to New York,wondering where a good and close place to go would be.I live in Ohio so would like somewhere kinda close.Thanks for the suggestions.
 
Are you talking about trail riding??? If you are I believe there are trails all over NY.. The inlets, indian lake, charly's inn, old forge, etc.. There are tons of trails...give me a minute and I will post a link to NY trial system.

Cool that would be great! And yes I was talking about trail's.Would like to go somewhere different than the U.P.
 
a couple of us were trying to set up a ride in ny.if you want help us set & date & where & we can get together for a ride or so.
 
where do you guys want to go for a ride? I would more then love to join you guys...I have a trial map but I can't seem to find anything on maps for yeah....indian lake is a great area to ride!! goes for miles and attaches to everything...lets keep everyone posted and find more people to join us..... Mr. Sled how about a 1200 mile trip to NY...lol

mayville, ny ( on chatauqua lake ). the second exit off the #90 east from the PA border. 20 min. from the exit east of the #90. a lot less trail traffic than old forge & better trails + 310 miles closer to ohio. you can ride south into PA or north thru ny. if you need specifics pm me.

lets set a TY ride up near you srxbully. i only go to the hill a few times a year, but would love to put together a ride with fellow TY riders from the board. now that the snow is teasing us, we should start planning something. i know there are lots of people that would get together for that, and the hill has tons of places to go. let me know what you think.
 
i was thinking some time after christmas (prolly beginning of january up towards highmarket,sprotsmans & up to eagle bay through old forge & the inlet.real long nice ride.probably be a weekend thing.& i dont want it to be one of thoses only yamaha sleds thing either........ps. it was snowing up this way last night.
 
i agree, srxbully. i have a few other friends that would be interested that ride other brands. figure we get a good group together and meet new people. would be a blast!
 
if where going to hit the hill we have to plain on doing that early them trails get crap road out of them (bump hill) say we drop south through penn mountian trails and around that way little longer but alot smoother.

good for 4-10 if we bring other brands .have to check with guys on this.
one of the guys has camp by old forge .
 
that would be great. with the camp..im just throwing out ideals guys..when we come up with a few places & when then we can all decide on where to go.
 
have to get a list of who want to def. do this only a couple mounths a way. be nice to find camp in braningham area to.
 
going to new york dmv monday for work I'll find out what all you out of state guys have to do to reg. here.
 
more the marrier...(just think i had no replys on this subect in the ty rides area for 2 months & now i cant count how many ppl want to go) i'll start the list with im going.
