Well, that was interesting but not what I'd hoped for, another 120 HP mountain sled that only dropped 22 lbs doesn't get my blood pumping to hard.

Skids
Is that two new skids? One in the vector and one in the RX?

I'm glad I bought this year. Graphics suck on these. The are about as plain as you could get. The only one that is decent is the vector and it is a 2up!

Sign me up for a RS Rage, Exactly what I'm looking for! 120hp 136" track and atleast 50# lighter than the current warrior.
The 3 cylinder is 22 #lighter, suspension is 16# lighter, and NO gear reduction has to save quite a few pounds, has to be atleast 50+# lighter.

Disappointing
Bummer.........guess I will be ordering an 05 Renegade. I was hoping Yamaha would step-up and delivery something new and exciting, but this isn't it.

next sled will be rev. I like my srx & will probably keep it for an extra sled & my back-up. Maybe even buy another back-up (newer)srx after this one is sold, if i find a mint one.
sorry to the rx owners but the rx chassy does nothing for me.
I do like the power of the 4 stroke but way too heavy & UGLY.
yamaha is quality, but not for me after seeing the new lineup.
Wish they had a ditch banging, lightweight, 160+hp, SRX!
Yamaha messed up with the agressive riders. if they make a good sled next yr. it may be too late, several new buyers will leave this yr('05 model)

Like every other year people aren't going to like certain things. whose to say there isn't a 2004.5 model for a ditchbanger and it's not ready yet. I know far cry. I don't think I will go on AMSOW. I am sure there's a hammering over there. But hell guys it's 2004 now and we all have sleds, I am headed to the UP hell with 2005 I am living for today.. PEACE
It doesnt surprise on all these forums that nobody wants new technology, i imagine figuring out this here internet was realllll big step for ya! I would definitely be up for a rage if i had the $, i think it would work well for me. You can cry about not having 170 hp but when you are WOT on your new REV1000 or F10 and blowing up i ***hopefully in the near future*** will be able to tow you someday with the slow 4stroke. i think 120 stock hp is decent, for what it has to move. I guess people just love those fumes!

just one more thing to say. its not new technology guys. they have been building four strokes for years. it the goverment thats pushing this. for air polution. and thtas bullsh$t. our air is getting better everyday. put a ban on the big companys and the diesle trucks. no theres to much money in that. they have to pick on us.

The warrior -50#'s aint gonna cut it at 120hp...that sled is a fat bastard that needs to loose about 100#'s before I'de even give it a thought....

no dout about it they are nice sleds. and they are probaly more dependable then a two stroke. but not what im looking for. we all have our own opinions.

I like the "lighter" Mountain Viper. New skid, better skis, throw a set of pipes on it and you got a pretty nice mountain sled!

hey everyone i just read that ski doo has made there two strokes. more efficiant then a four stroke. less pollution then a four stoke. so they will still have two strokes after 2006. thats what yamaha should of spent there money on.
